BRIEF RESUMÉ

Anastasios Lomvardeas was born in Athens and is a psychologist with studies at prestigious universities in Greece and the UK, such as the University of Crete (BSc in Psychology) and the University of Nottingham (MSc in Health Psychology). He has also been trained in Contemporary Relational Psychotherapy at the Center for Contemporary Psychotherapy and Psychoanalysis (ICPA).

He specializes in treating psychological disorders such as generalized anxiety and panic disorders, depression, phobias, eating disorders, psychosomatic disorders, as well as relational problems. His psychotherapeutic orientation is synthetic with major influences from the relational model of psychotherapy that is based on the therapeutic relationship that develops between therapist and client.

He has practiced in psychological support centers in Rethymnon, Crete, at the Lyrakou Psychiatric Clinic in Melissia, at the day care center for deinstitutionalized people of AMKE IASIS, as well as at the detoxification center for drug addicts of OKANA in Athens .He has also worked as a School Psychologist at the Special Public Primary School of Argyroupoli, as well as at the Child, Adolescent and Family Center "KEPEO" in Voula.

He currently works at the "NIOTHO" Adolescent and Adult Mental Health Center in Voula where he provides individual psychotherapy sessions for adolescents and adults, as well as couple's therapy.
